About Aide In Aid

AIDE in AID was established to provide Personal Care for a loved one facing challenges with daily self-care task (Activities of Daily Living; ADL). Personal Care includes bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, exercising, toileting, positioning, assisting with self-administered medications, routine hair & skin care, transfer, and ambulation. In addition Home Care is offered with services including light housekeeping, meal preparation & set-up, transportation, errands, plant & pet care, as well as light bookkeeping. Although AIDE in AID does not provide medical care, we are very much aware of our role in the long-term care spectrum and can coordinate care as needed.

Because of our experience in long-term care, we are aware of the need for a resource that provides Convenient and Compassionate Personal & Home Care. We carefully select Aides based on their experience and education, with a strong preference for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and we employ them based on their compassion and integrity. AIDE in AID supports the Aides through continuing education specifically centered on Eldercare issues. Our motto is “We’re here for you!” …a philosophy that applies not only to the clients, their families and friends, but also to the associates of AIDE in AID.

With our Aides focused on the health and safety of our clients, the peace of mind that AIDE in AID offers extends to:

Logistics—AIDE in AID’s scheduling centers on compatible, qualified Aides along with back-ups (as well as being flexible and accountable).

Taxes—AIDE in AID is responsible for tax liability including Social Security, Medicare, State and Federal Unemployment (private caregivers can file for unemployment benefits even if they were paid directly). In addition, services provided by AIDE in AID may be tax deductible.

Insurance—AIDE in AID maintains Professional and General Liability insurance in the event that a client is injured, along with being responsible for any on-the-job injuries.

AIDE in AID, “We’re here for you!”
